Aston Villa play host to Wigan Athletic tomorrow afternoon hoping to build on last weekend's derby win. Should Aston Villa win the match it will be the first time this season that they have won two games on the bounce.
Aston Villa team news: Gareth Barry could be called upon to start at left-back as both Wilfred Bouma and Jlloyd Samuel miss out due to injuries. With Milan Baros again ruled out due to an achilles injury, Angel and Moore will be battling it out for a starting place alongside Kevin Phillips. Martin Laursen, Gary Cahill and Mark Delaney all remain on the sidelines.
Wigan team news: Wigan manager Paul Jewell has the luxury of a near fully-fit squad to pick from with Lee McCulloch the only player to miss out due to a suspension. It is expected that either Alan Mahon or Gary Teale will deputise.
History of this fixture: Aston Villa have only ever played Wigan on three occasions with Villa winning all of the meetings. The last time the two teams met was in the 94/95 season when The Villans won both matches 5-0.
Match betting: Aston Villa win - 5/6
