Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has put pen-to-paper on a new three-year contract which will keep him at the club until 2008.
The Danish international signed for the Villans from Sunderland two years ago and has been an impressive fixture in the Villa squad since his £2m move.
The keeper had been in contract talks for a number of weeks but it was only this afternoon that a deal was struck out between Doug Ellis and Sorensen's advisor.
The new contract is great news for the club and the fans because O'Leary can now build the team around Sorensen who has been in great form so far this season.
