Leeds have agreed to pay £2.75 million for the services of Nick Barmby. Terry Venables is a keen admirer and wants Barmby to become his first signing. The former Everton favourite will travel on Tuesday night for talks at Elland Road and will undergo a medical on Wednesday.

Barmby hasn`t had the best of times at Anfield and looks at Leeds to rescue his career and become an international player.

Since his move from Everton he has had a mixed ride with the fans but stating that he loved playing for the club but unfortunatly seen more of the bench than the pitch.
