Leeds United chairman Peter Ridsdale has said that the Elland Road Club have recieved no bids from any clubs for midfielder Lee Bowyer.

Liverpool Assistant Boss Phil Thompson said talks were "ongoing" between the two clubs but Ridsdale knows nothing about these claims.

He said: "Whatever Phil Thompson has been saying, it would have been nice if he had told me first!

"At this moment in time, Lee Bowyer is still a Leeds United footballer - there have been no bids for him or any of the other players at the club.
