Liverpool Assistant Boss Phil Thompson says The Anfield Club are working really hard behind the Scenes to make the Squad Stronger for Next Seasons Assualt on the Premiership Title.

Liverpool have been linked with so many Big Names, Djibril Cisse And Brett Emerton just to name a few.

Thompson says the Reds are hard at Work and will hopefully make a couple of big signings that will make the squad stronger.

"The fans know with Gerard Houllier at the helm we are working behind the scenes to make the team even stronger and make us feared in this country and across Europe," he told the club's official website.

"We are looking at players to bring in. We are not sitting back and thinking we don't need more talent.

"We are on the lookout and there will be changes, we can guarantee that.

"It's not like it was three years ago though. We do not need a dramatic turnaround - but we will be consolidating.

"Arsenal and Manchester United will do the same, and this will be the case whether we win the league or not."
