Liverpool Boss Gerard Houllier refused to through in the towel after The Reds crashed 1-0 to Spurs at White Hart Lane. Houllier said Liverpool will fight to the very end in one of the most close title races in years. Houllier refused to admit that the reds title challenge is now over.

'It's not in my nature to concede anything until there is no chance at all,' he said. 'You never know in football, anything could still happen and I'm not giving up until it's definitely over.'

Houllier continued 'We could have done a lot better than we did,' he admitted. 'We had our chances but we didn't take them. Spurs did and that's why they won the match. I can't complain about our commitment and effort, but we lacked a bit of spark. There was a bit of nerves and tension in the side, especially in the second half.'

Is our title challenge over for this season? Discuss it on the Message Board with other Reds !
