Micael Owen speaks out and says its hard to live with the attention surrounding his fitness. The Liverpool star says he gets "annoyed" sometimes. Read on. Michael Owen says he finds it hard sometimes live with the whole nations attention towards his fitness.

Owen, who has played 40 games for Liverpool this season netting 27 goals in that time, his best in any season so far for The Reds.

The Image that seems to go around is that Michael is Injury prone and he could not maybe last the pace until the world cup.

He said: "I've learned to live with the national obsession about my fitness, you learn. But you still get annoyed when someone says something stupid like, he's not playing well and it's a cause for concern for the World Cup." The hat-trick of misses in Leverkusen that ended Liverpool's European quest have clearly hung heavily on Owen.

Owen Continued: "It's because I was getting over an injury, it's been the same now for four years. When I get injured it takes a couple of games to get right, I wonder whether people are really watching me sometimes."
