The Reds will be without vital midfield star Steven Gerrard for this game as he suffered a hip injury.

Gerrard sustained the injury on international duty with England in midweek and will be a major loss to The Reds tomorrow at Ellend Road.

Forward Emile Heskey could also miss out, Heskey pulled out of the midweek International against Macedonia with a groin injury.
