He's none too pretty, and he's none too welcome in these parts again! One second, he's on trial, the next he's disappeared! Tony Grant has left the club following just a week on trial. Though he was expected to return to the Airbus training plant on Monday, the 30-year-old informed a Chester player he would not be returning, and the club is yet to hear from Grant, who was released by Burnley at the end of last season.

Last week, Keith Curle commented 'The kid can play. He's got ability.' But, Curle's assistant, John Gannon, informed the media more recently "He's not been with us this week. I don't know if he's been offered something by another club but we just heard from one of the players that he wouldn't be coming in."
