Celtic agree fee for Nakamura

Scottish Giants, Celtic, have agreed a fee with Reggina over the sale of Japanese international midfielder, Shunsuke Nakamura... The Japanese playmaker will become the seventh signing of the summer for the Scottish Giants. After Celtic manager, Gordon Strachan, chasing Shunsuke Nakamura all summer, Reggina and Celtic have now agreed a fee for Nakamura. It is reported that Celtic will pay around £2 million for the Japanese international, who has impressed Strachan. He believes the 27 year old can be a huge success with the Bhoys. "He's great going forward, with his vision, and he sees things a lot of people can't see. He can run with the ball and he is a decent lad as well." Strachan spoke of the player's ability.

Nakamura has pulled off several impressive performances as of late too, persuading Strachan to buy him. "He also starred against Brazil and was man of the match so from that you can say he's not bad!" Strachan said of the midfielder's fine displays in the recent Confederations Cup.
