There was interesting injury news ahead of the Leichtenstein game tomorrow, with Miller out and Fletcher coming in.

Craig Levein got what some people would say was good news and bad news on the injury front, with Kenny Miller not making it through this afternoon’s training session, but skipper Darren Fletcher flying in.

Fletcher looked as though he would miss out through a bout of tonsillitis but it looks as though he has shaken it off and could feature tomorrow night. This is a bit of a major fillup forScotlandas the midfield always looks better with him in it.

This should see the Manchester United man playing the holding role in midfield therefore allowing Charlie Adam more time to express himself.

Miller being out isn’t a bad thing, as I said earlier in the week, and will now finally force Levein to try something different up front, and maybe regret not trying a different formula in friendly games.

This now leaves the choice down to Criag Mikail-Smith or David Goodwillie, the former appearing the favourite at the moment. Although the Manager’s favouring of anyone with a Dundee United connection it could still be Goodwillie.

Although I would rather he played two up front against a team as lowly as Leichtenstein in what is a must win game, particularly withSpainteaching the Czechs a footballing lesson tonight.
