A number of SPL clubs have added to their squad today, including Rangers, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen.
Rangers fans shouldn’t get too excited, it isn’t David Goodwillie or Lee Wallace but David Healey who has signed on for one more year! Healy spent the second half of last season on loan from Sunderland, managing to score 1 goal in 10 appearances in a spell blighted by injury.
Over at Rugby Park, Killie have signed Czech defender Zdenek Kroca from Luton.
The 30-year-old has signed a two-year contract and joined his new team-mates at training on Thursday.
Kroca is Kilmarnock's fifth summer signing and manager Kenny Shiels is confident of adding another player to his squad in the next 24 hours.
This is after an early summer of panic amongst the Killie fans who were nervous after a series of exits but Shiels appears to have allayed some of their fears.
Aberdeen have been busy after losing Chris Maguire to Derby County, with Chris Clarke returning to Pittodrie after a spell with Plymouth Argyle, they also snapped up former Coventry midfielder Isaac Osborne.
Craig Brown looks to be well on his way to putting his own stamp on the Dons squad after a number of disappointing seasons under Calderwood and McGhee.
