Ryan Stevenson’s late winner against Rangers for Hearts has blown the title race wide open, as Celtic see off Aberdeen at Celtic Park.

Hearts have made it a three way chase for the SPL title this season thanks to their 1-0 win at Tynecastle against the Champions Rangers.

This moves Hearts to within two points of Rangers, having played a game more, and within seven points of the leaders Celtic this time with a game in hand. This would appear make sure we have a competitive threesome at the top.

Hearts did ride their luck in the early game with keeper Kello keeping in the game at the break with a string of fine saves. One of which stood out as he dived full length to tip a Ness effort wide as it sailed towards the top corner.

The second half was a bit closer but Hearts first effort on target led to the winning goal in the 77^th minute.

The other member of the top three, Celtic, closed out a comfortable win over Aberdeen, although the Dons will see a 0-1 defeat as a vast improvement on the nine goals on their last visit to Celtic Park.

The goalscorer was Anthony Stokes in the 27^th minute, and this was enough to win the game.

At Rugby Park, Killie and Dundee Utd drew a bit of tousy game which saw three players shown a red card.

Killie were reduced to ten men when Eremenko was sent off just after half time, and then United were reduced to nine with the red cards for Robertson and Daly within minutes of each other.

Connor Sammon gave the home side the lead in the first half, only for Garry Kenneth to come on as a sub and take a point in stoppage time.

Hibs slumped to another defeat without scoring as Motherwell ran out two goal winners at Fir Park thanks to goals from Murphy and Saunders, with Zemmama missing a penalty for the Hibees.

The other two games ended in draws….
