As Kenny Miller leaves Ibrox for Turkey Celtic are have been busy at the other side of Glasgow as they look to re-shape their squad with players going out and others on the verge of coming in.

First out is Dutch defender Jos Hooiveld who has joined Copenhagen on loan until the summer. He has struggled to hold down a regular place this season having only made 7 SPL appearances to date.

He is the middle of a three-and-half-year contract with Celtic after joining from Swedish outfit AIK Stockholm for about £2m in January 2010.

Next through the exit door is Olivier Kapo who was only signed on November 4^th, and made only two appearances for the club. The striker says he leaves Celtic with a sense of "injustice" after the Scottish Premier League leaders changed their offer of a new contract.

On the other hand Celtic said they had terminated his deal as the former Birmingham and Juventus midfielder had not proved himself during his probationary period.

Players being linked with a move to Celtic include Everton striker James Vaughan who is being lined up for a possible loan deal for James Vaughan. The League  leaders could pay a rental fee to bring the 22-year-old striker to Glasgow for the rest of the season.

Vaughan made his first Everton appearance of the season as a 74th-minute substitute during Sunday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool. This was after spending the first half of the campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, scoring five goals in his time at Selhurst Park.

Celtic were today also linked with a move for French hitman Garra Dembele.

They are understood to have scouted the £2.5million-rated Levski Sofia striker during the Bulgarian club’s Europa League campaign.

Dembele has scored 26 goals in 26 games for Levski and his agent, Christian Emile, has confirmed Celtic interest.

Time is running out with only 11 days left in the transfer window, and it would appear Neil Lennon has made the signing of a striker one his key goals in the remaining days before the end of the month.
