Levein names side for tomorrow's friendly

Craig Levein has named his side for tomorrow’s game with the Faroes

The side reads;

 

Gordon, Bardsley, S Caldwell, Wilson, Crainey, Commons, D Fletcher, Adam, Bannan, Maloney, Mackie

 

In the end this is a reasonable side, although it could be argued the inclusion of Danny Wilson seems a bit premature given his lack of first team experience.

 

Bannan of Aston Villa should provide some entertainment for the fans who bother to turn up, but we need to see an end product to his work. This was sometimes lacking against Iceland in the U21 qualifier.

 

Jamie Mackie is an interesting selection up front, although the goals appeared to have dried up at QPR in recent.

 

Hopefully this side should still be good enough to see off the minnows from the Faroes, if not the knives will be out for Levein.
