Julian Bennett has said he shunned moves to the Championship to sign for his home town Club Notts Forest.

^{Bennett, who concluded his move today seems pretty chuffed that he's back at the Club who released him as a youngster. He told the Clubs Official Site " There were other teams showing an interest in me, teams from the Championship, but once I became aware of Forest's interest, there was no question of me going anywhere but The City Ground."}

^{Bennett also added that the move was amazing. The most interesting bit of information to emerge from today is that Gary Megson has been a long term admirer of his talents having caught his eye while he was still in charge at Albion.}
