England are in the final of the UEFA U19 European Championships. They beat a talented Serbia side by three goals to one. Guess who netted a hat trick to see them through. New Page 1

If those watching the Championships had wondered why a League One striker was playing for England then they now know why. The Saddlers player of the season now has 4 goals from 4 games and England are through to face the French in the final.

His firs goal was the pick of the bunch. He found himself free, ran from deep with the ball and put it past the keeper following a neat little shimmy. James Morrison went on to pick him out for his second, while his third came late in injury time while he had acres of space and slotted the ball home past a stranded keeper.

Whatever his value was prior to this spell, this good run of form will now have added the odd zero or two to his potential transfer value.

England are now in their first final at any level since 1993. Those of you who are interested in odd facts may be interested to know that the last time we won a final at any level - both Jamie Forrester and Julian Joachim (former Saddlers) played key rolls in the England set up.
