Could the media speculation that continues to surround Harry Redknapp have anything to do with the lack of news on the Surman front?

This weeks Red Tops are saying that the futures of  Peter Crouch, Kevin Phillips and Anti Niemi will dictate the future of Harry Redknapp. If the Saints lose all 3 then Harry could find himself out of a job. 

Today's Express and Star said that Surman was going to start pre-season with the Saints, and the lack of transfer movement could all be linked to the uncertainty that continues to dog Harry Redknapp.

The Saints boss insists that he'll stay at Southampton even if his big name players choose to leave, but we've been saying all summer that if Harry stays then we're sure to get Surman for another season. What is going on?
