A busy Leroy Williams found the net twice with two screaming efforts for the Walsall Reserves. The final score was 4-0 to the Saddlers.

^{It was an Interesting afternoons football at the Bescot Stadium. We ran out 4-0 winners, but could have conceded 3 or 4 ourselves. The woodwork saved our bacon on more than one occasion. The funniest being when the hapless McKinney was caught in no mans land and lobbed from 25 yards, only to see the ball bounce on to the ground then on to the cross bar.}

^{Our first goal came from a Krissy Taylor free kick. It looped over the wall from the same kind of position as Darren Wrack's had against Barnsley}

^{The star of the show was the rampant Leroy Williams. He scored two splendid goals. Both solo efforts that oozed class. His first saw him drift off the right wing, take on two players and hammer a 20 yard shot in to the far corner of the net.}

^{His second saw him pick the ball up mid way inside our half,  then proceed to power past player after player before coolly poking home as he advanced in to the box. The Bescot has never seen a better solo effort.}  

^{It was  4-3-1-2 with Leroy the man in behind Mark Wright and Tai Atieno. Atieno put in a fantastic performance. He worked hard for the team and caused panic in the Bradford defense.}

^{The final goal came as tiny (and i mean tiny) David McDermott shot through a crowded penalty area following a right wing cross. The little striker who made his debut against Wednesday is a right little livewire.} 

^{It was a cohesive team performance with two goals in either half. They seemed to know the system well which bodes well for anyone coming in to the first team. In the past we've seen the Reserves playing one system and Colin Lee messing about with what the first team plays. This consistency is good.}

^{GK - McKinney - Very dodgy kicking.  Saved by the woodwork once. 1 or 2 good saves. 6/10}

^{RB - Willetts - Coped well down the right. Some nice balls in to the box. 7/10}

^{LB - Harkness - Seems to rush a lot of the time. A chaotic performance 6/10}

^{CB - Dakinah - The guy never breaks sweat. Cool on the ball and in the challenge 7/10}

^{CB - Dann - A mixed bag from the youngster. Some great challenges, then poor passes 6/10}

^{CM - Jamerson - Played on the left of the 3.  Wasn't really involved all that much 6/10}

^{CM - K Taylor - His first touch set him apart from everyone else on the pitch. Ran the game for the Saddlers 8/10}

^{CM - Wheeler - Played on the right of three. Worked very hard and looked good coming forward 7/10}

^{AM - Williams - How can he not make the first team after this all action display 10/10}

^{FC - Atieno - Selfless hardwork. Dominated in the air. Pulled Bradford defence all over the place 9/10}

^{FC - Wright - Being a striker doesn't suit him. Iffy kept shouting at him. He wasn't very good 5/10}

^{Adam Hughes & Mark Bradley didn't make any real impression on the game. Bradley came on quite late.}

^{McDermott - The littlest player i have ever seen in a game at the Bescot . The size of his shorts  covered the top of his socks. Only 16 years old and he is a right handful. Like a little Michael Owen. He pops up everywhere.  Took his goal well. 8/10}
