Most of us would have taken a point at 7:45. As it turned out, we headed home a bit deflated having thrown away our two goal lead.

We mustn’t be to disappointed, we can take a number of positives from our first away outing. Most notably the fact that Kris Taylor is an able left back, while Julian Bennett looks at home at the heart of the defence.

We failed to dominate the game for long periods, but you don't expect to when on the road. It was great to see Daryl Taylor in the starting XI. He was our most dangerous attacking player, he deserved his first half goal which came from a pin point Merson cross.

Our second goal came courtesy of Kris Taylor. His solid performance at Left Back will not have gone unnoticed. Paul Merson who put yet another quality ball in to the box created his goal.

Merson has admitted that replacing himself with Leroy Williams was a bad decision. Williams failed to make the kind of impact he did in his last outing. Merse hadn't had his best game, but had been involved in all our best offensive moves.

Elliot was equally important for the Cherries. He set up their first goal with a well placed cross for Hayter, before slotting home the equaliser as the big Steve Fletcher knocked the ball in to his path.

Instead of steadying the ship we threw on Jorge Leitao. He did his usual running about routine but it was to late. We were shell-shocked after that two-goal salvo.

It was sad to see us give away a two-goal lead within two minutes. It was great to see us still trying to win the game when the Cherries were all over us. The Bescot Babes are still learning.

McKinney - Spilled the ball a few times but other than that handled himself confidently and his kicking had improved since Saturday. Couldn’t be faulted for the first goal as bazeley had gone AWOL. 6/10

Bazeley - He looked better going forwards than he did defending! He went AWOL at crucial times throughout the game and failed to put his foot through the ball when it needed it to be done. Also being one of the senior pros in the side squaring up to an opposition player is not the example you want set. 5/10

K Taylor - Came into the left back position and has staked a claim to be first choice left back with pace and movement up and down the field. He also went in hard into the tackle to let the Bournemouth players know he was there also chipped in with his first goal of the season.

J Bennett - Slotted into the central defensive position as if he had always been there! Another who went in where it hurts and came out with the ball more times than he lost it. A solid performance if not spectacular! A MOTM contender. 9/10

Emblen - Lead by example again tonight. Didn’t put a foot wrong read the game well and made some timely challenges. 8/10

D Taylor - Came in for his first start of the season and his pace and trickery on the ball caused Bournemouth problems all night. He started to drift out of the game in the final 10 minutes but other than that another excellent performance another MOTM contender. 8/10

Kinsella - You didn’t see him much throughout the game as he just stuck to his task as the holding midfielder. Although he did fail to track a Bournemouth player in the first half that allowed him to have a free header at goal.Wrack - Got up the pitch well to assist the attackers but also did his fair share of defending. His first touch let him down on occasions last night. 7/10

Merson - He set up the first goal after his tame corner had been cleared out to him again. His first touch was at times missing but he was still the player most likely to produce something with the ball. 7/10

Fryatt - He had an off day where what ever he tried just didn’t come off. Taken off during the second half to give the team another dimension with Leitao replacing him. 6/10

Birch - He did everything that he didn’t do on Saturday. He was running off the ball taking players with him, he also holding the ball up and laying it off to his fellow players. More of the same please Birchy!Williams - Didn't make the kind of impact we wanted. 8/10

Leitao  - Came on with 20 minutes to go gave his all during his performance maybe he has played himself into a starting place on Saturday with Fryatt having an off day. He held the ball up well and ran at the defenders with the ball. 7/10

Williams - He came on at a time when maybe a more defence minded midfielder would have been better? His pacey runs caused trouble for the Bournemouth defence but he offered very little in terms of defence at a time when we could have had a bit of extra helping midfield 6/10
