Defender on trial with Cheltenham

Cheltenham Town are taking a look at former Walsall defender Gavin Caines. The powerful defender wasn't awarded a new deal at Bescot.
CHELTENHAM LOOK AT CAINES

CAINES IS ON TRIAL WITH CHELTENHAM TOWN.
Cheltenham are taking a look at Caines who is
looking for a new Club after being released by the Saddlers.
The Player signed professional forms last
summer, but ended up on Loan at Stafford Rangers.
It will be interesting to see how Caines fairs.
Most of our youngsters drift on to the non-league circuit after being
released.
Also in Division 3, Ian Brightwell has become a
member of Brian Horton's backroom staff at Macclesfield Town. He links up with
Tony Barras who is also with the Silkmen.
