Sky Sports News says that out of contract Walsall defender Paul Ritchie has been offered the chance to play in America by the NY/NJ MetroStars.

THE NY/NJ METROSTARS HAVE
OFFERED WALSALL DEFENDER PAUL RITCHIE THE CHANCE TO PLAY IN THE MLS.
The MLS is currently in full swing, with
the MetroStars sitting pretty on top of the Eastern Conference.
Sky Sports News reports he has been
offered a lucrative 2 year deal by the East Coast Giants.
Ritchie could join former Saddler Ronnie
Ekelund, who currently plays for the San Jose Earthquakes of the Western Conference.
San Jose won the Championship last season, but face an up hill struggle to
retain their crown following a poor start to the season.
This isn't a new story, the MetroStars
have been monitoring him since he joined us at the start
of the season.
