Despite the best efforts of the Scottish FA 'clericals' to cock his week up, Paul Ritchie has got his recall to the International squad. Despite the reports to the contrary, Paul Ritchie has earned a recall to the Scotland squad from Manager Bertie Vogts. The immenselt popular central defender already has nine caps to his name, including playing against England in the Euro 2000 qualifier, but has not been in consideration for some time. It had been widely reported that he was to earn a recall against Wales, following his performances for Walsall this season, but his name was not included when the squad was announced this morning. It now turns out that this was a 'clerical error' at the Scottish FA and he will be in the squad for the game. It remains to be seen if he will play and, even better, if Jason Koumas will be fit for the opposition!
