A poster on UTS, who recently broke the Vinny Samways story, now tells us that Zigor may be leaving for another First Division Club. As rumours go, this one does seem a little unlikely, unless Lee is contemplating a complete restructure of the squad at the mid point of the season. The only other senior left back at the club is a loan player, Vincent, so it is unlikely that there would be any movement unless that situation were to be resolved.

There is also a rumour that we had been showing an interest in Noel Whelan, released by Millwall and currently suffering from a hamstring injury, but he has gone on trial with Derby this week. We already know they can offer far better wages than us, with a ceiling of £5,000 per week, but this might be a lucky escape, as he didn't rip up any trees at the New Den!
