Colin Lee has has told the Express & Star he is stepping up his player search in a bid to strengthen his squad.

Lee told the paper "If the right opportunity comes up then i will get players in and use up the loans because it is vital we get results, But they would need to be long term loans"

Lee went on to say that losing two quality players like Baird and O'Neil gives him problems, but he feels he has a squad of players who should already be good enough for the first division.

With Bazeley and Wright unable to get a game Lee may choose to bring in another Right Back. Then there are the forwards. Lee going with Gary Birch at the moment, not favouring the promising Fryatt or the jaded Leitao. Some fresh blood is needed up front.

Lee has put some of the fringe players up for loan, and if they continue to leave he should have the revenue to finance a deal or two.
