They put in a sterling performance against a star studded Brazilian side. A Roberto Carlos wonder goal was the only thing that separated the two sides at the end of the day, and they can be proud of their efforts against the world champions.

Over 30,000 people turned out to see the game and it was played amidst a fantastic friendly, carnival style atmosphere.
