It looks as though West Ham have beaten us to the signature of Wayne Quinn. Make shift full backs are on the cards for Colin Lee.

Our proposed move for Newcastle Full Back Wayne Quinn is on the rocks after both Crystal Palace and West Ham have taken an interest in the player.

Newcastle had accepted our bid, and recommended the player accept it. However, the player has had talks with West Ham, and a move to the manager-less club looks likley.

It is yet another blow to Lee who looks set ask Darren Wrack to perform as a make shift defender. Wrack, Ritchie and Oakes could play as a full back / wing back , and Colin Lee looks set to use one of them in the up an coming fixtures

"It's a position where we haven't got any specific cover but we do have one or two players who've played in that position before, meaning we do have options."

Zigor Aranaldes ban was made official today - The Spanish left back will miss the next three games against Derby, Milwall and Ipswich.
