Wasall to play Bolton in Carling Cup

Walsall have been drawn against Bolton Wanderers in the Carling Cup 2nd round draw. The game will be played the week commencing the 22nd September at the Reebok Stadium. The last time we played Bolton it was in the same competition in 2001. On that day Bolton ended up 4-3 winners after extra time.

History shows that the teams have met 19 times at Bolton, with the home side victorious 8 times, Walsall 7 times and the game ending in a draw on 4 occassions.
