Colin Lee has today told the Express and Star that he is targeting two left sided central defenders, but no deal will happen before this weekends game against Coventry City. The names of the two players are being kept secret. Both players are attracting interest from other clubs and this has hit Colin Lee's plans to have at least one of them in the squad for Saturday.

Lee has agreed a 3 month loan deal with one of the players clubs with the intention of sorting out a permanent deal during that spell. This is presumably relying on us generating some revenue from a good Carling Cup run.

There is no news about a new striker joining the Saddlers after the Adam Proudlock deal broke down. The main concern from all the Saddlers fans at the moment is if Jorge Leitao gets injured, who replaces him to score the goals?

We will have to see how things develop of the next few weeks.
