With the Big Kick Off almost upon us the management of the site have pinned down Mister Happy to predict the final League table as he sees it. Will the Saddlers be in for another flirtation with relegation?. Post thoughts on the message board New Page 1

Mister Happy has finally decided to nail his colours to the mast. Every year Mister Happy has been found moaning and groaning as to where he thinks the Saddlers should finish depending on their plight at that particular time. The site officiator, quite simply, has had enough so he decided to e-mail a blank piece of paper to the miserable toad and told him to fill in the positions where he thinks the teams will finish PRIOR to the season starting. So here is the reply.

"Obviously, the most important parts of the league table are the promotion and relegation spots. In all honesty, i can see all three teams relegated from the Premiership being up there with a shout of promotion. Of the three teams i predict that the Baggies will come top of the pile simply because i think they will be extremeley difficult to beat, particularly at home. West Ham will be there or there abouts whilst Sunderland will just creep in to the play offs. The second automatic promotion spot will be keenly battled out between the Hammers and the Blades."

Looking at the relegation places Mister Happy confidently predicts Alex to collect the wooden spoon in a keenly contested battle with near neighbours Sjoke. At least the Stoke fans will be happy that they finished above their nearest and dearest and both teams will swiftly return to where they belong. The Stoke fans will proclaim all season long "we are a big club", "we are too big to go down". Mister Happy will smile a wicked smile come the season end.

The final relegation spot will go to either Wimbledon; Bradford or Ronnie Moore's Millers.

In terms of the play-offs, Mister Happy predicts that the Hammers and Black Cats will be joined by Reading and a complete outsider. The dark horses for this year will be the most boring team from the most boring place on earth. Coventry City will pick up the remaining play off spot and naturally, no-one will take the slightest bit of notice.

When pressed for a prediction for the Saddlers for this year Mister Happy shrugged and calmly predicted a final finish of thirteenth. "Easy Peesy - provided we get another striker and another centre half. Provided we don't give daft goals away and compete for 90 minutes; create in midfield and finish up front. Provided we don't keep changing formations; get too many injuries; the pitch doesn't rip up etc etc etc".

The Final League standings as predicted by Mister Happy is below:

1. West Bromwich Albion
