Gavin Ward has him got a trial with the Sky Blues, and the Don goes to Stafford.

Gavin Ward has joined Coventry City on trial. The Sky Blues are in the market for a keeper, and have already had a number of unsuccessful trialists . If he does sign a deal at Highfield Road, it will be deserved, because his performances for us last season showed he can do the biz in Division 1. 

He was very unlucky to lose his place after a great run in the team thanks to Jims sending off against Burnley. He kept a number of clean sheets, and got as close as anyone ever did to dislodging Jim.

Ward chose to leave the club at the end of season, and as it stands at the moment we have a makeshift number two in Aaron Kerr, whose situation is somewhat confusing at the moment. Has he signed? Is it permanent? Either way, Ward was probably the best number 2 we have had for some time. He can certainly perform in Division 1.
