It is being reported in Scotland that Bishop is following the trail of Hawley and Stanley to North of the Border and a loan period in Raith! The Raith Rovers web site, www.raithroversfc.com, is reporting the imminent arrival of promising young Walsall centre forward Andy Bishop to compliment Craig Stanley in their team for the coming season.

They say that Bishop didn't leave with Stanley, as he was needed for the pre season game at Hednesford last night.

There is no indication as to when this rather unexpected development was negotiated, but we suspect that it might be Lee trying to free up resources so he can bring more players in , as well as giving Bishop some much needed 1st team competitve experience.
