The latest rumour from WalsallYCasual on Rivals is that the "experienced midfielder" is Vinny Samways and he is willing to return, his businesses being the major problem. WalsallYCasual has been spot on with his last two rumours on Rivals, but his latest one takes some believing.

He says that the "experienced midfielder" Lee is talking to at the moment is none other than instant folk hero Vinny Samways, who had such a great influence on our last season.

Vinny, according to the rumour, is very willing to resign for the coming season, but soem concerns over the running of his businesses in Spain, where he owns a chain of bars.

Samways' name has been out of the news of late, so we can assume that none of the supposed offers from Spanish clubs have come to anything, but it is difficult to see how Walsall could help with the running of his businesses.

We can but hope that this rumour is true, as the acqusition of the ex Spurs and Everton player might be the last piece in the midfield jigsaw.
