It is strongly being rumoured that Junior will turn his back on a permanent move to Walsall. Instead he will join first division rivals Derby County or Nottingham Forest. The story has been rumoured in the press, on Skysports and also on various Walsall fan site message boards.
This would be a major blow to Walsall boss Colin Lee. Not only would he lose a quality striker with the best football ahead of him, he would break up the highly successful partnership with Jorge Leitao. Also, to lose him to a first division rival team would be a bitter pill to swallow for all Walsall fans as he is a terrace favourite at Bescot.
His agent owns his registration documents, which is why Colin Lee is having so much difficulty in re-signing him. The player has told Lee that he wants to sign the two year deal on offer at Walsall, but his South American agent is demanding quite a stupid amount though to let his client sign for Walsall. As a result, he appears to be touting him around at the moment to see who will pay him the most money for Junior's signature.
Will this turn out to be another situation like the Gino Padula saga? Will Junior keep his word and sign a two-year deal to stay at Bescot? Vote using the poll to let us know where you think junior will be next season.
