Harry's Robinson U Turn

Just 13 days ago Carl Robinson said he had spoken to Harry Redknapp who had told him he had a chance of figuring in next seasons campaign....Robinson said......

"Every player wants to play in the Premiership and Harry told me everyone will start with a clean slate next season and if I earn my chance I'll get it."

But, today Planet Football has revealed that Pompey have released 8 players with Redknapp saying....

"Its only fair to give them a chance to find alternative clubs"

"We have several players who are not going to make it in the Premiership"

Colin Lee has made it clear that we could not match what Pompey pay Robinson, but he will surely offer the Welsh International some kind of deal.

With the transfer market being flooded with quality players this summer, Robinson may not find it easy to find a club who will match the money he was on at Pompey.
