 We expect Derby to bring a good following and fill the William Sharp Stand. It will be interesting to see how the Saddlers fans react to safety. Will they turn up to thank the team in high numbers, or see it as job done and not turn up? We say anything between 7500-8500 !

You cannot miss the stadium if you travel along the M6. It is just off Junction 9, then the A461 road leads you around to the Stadium. It is well signposted from the Motorway. You can Leave at Junction 10, it takes longer but it is also sign posted. It is a 20 minute walk from the town center, and it is also served by its own Station "Bescot Stadium Station". Danny Hay is out for the rest of the season. Lawrence is doubtful after limping out of Mondays game and Martin O'Connor stands by for a return. The big question is if Lee will give the youngsters a run out now that we are safe.

The Derby side is full of Premiership experience with seasoned pro's like Ravenelli, Valakari, Rob Lee and Warren Barton all featuring heavily in Derby's late season rally under Craig Burley. From a Saddlers perspective this is a very hard section to decide on this weekend. Quiet simply because no one knows what Colin Lee is going to-do, so Colin Lee is Walsall one2watch this week. Will he go with the first teamers, play the kids or throw in a mix? Either way, do we care?

When he steps out at the Bescot Stadium on Saturday afternoon he will become one of the best known players ever to play at the Bescot Stadium.  Have their been many bigger names that Rav to line up against the Saddlers in a league game since we have been at the Bescot?

The Verdict
 

Their should be a cracking atmosphere inside the Bescot on Saturday. Last seasons game against Bradford was a cracker (even though we drew and should have won). It would be nice to see a few of the youngsters and how they react to first team football, while it would also be nice to try and climb up the table and exceed last seasons points tally.  Derby have been this seasons surprise strugglers along with Coventry City. When we played them last time around we were thankful to get a 0-0 draw against a side we presumed would finish somewhere within the top 10. Jorge and Junior are now neck and neck in the goal scoring charts....it should be an interesting afternoon
