The ex Wolves contingent was added to at Walsall today, as Colin Lee made a signing that a few Saddlers fans half expected last close season. When he was released last season, there were a few predictions on the message board that Wolves' Welsh International midfielder Carl Robinson would be moving to Walsall.

At that time, however, he chose, unsuprisingly, to go to Portsmouth. He was a regular in their side at the start of the season, but, as Harry Redknapp has kept up his policy of signing all and sundry, has lost his place in the side.

He recently had a very successful loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday, which coincided with their mini revival, but has now joined Walsall ojn loan until the end of the season, which should help Colin Lee cope with his midfield injury crisis.

Robinson made almost 200 appearances for Wolves, scoring over 20 goals and should be a welcome addition to the Walsall side. He was not always the most popular player with the Dingle fans, but, then again, who is?

He is also, of course, still a current Welsh International, his last appearance being in their 2 - 0 away win in Azerbaijan last autumn.
