As predicted on this site, the Express & Star are reporting that former Manchester United youngster Kris Taylor has signed for Walsall. The club have now confirmed this.
It will come as no suprise to readers on this site that the former Manchester United starlet has signed.
The official site says that the locally based 18 year old former England youth International has joined Walsall on a contract until the end of next season.
He is a left back/midfielder/central defender and has impressed the club on trial over the last couple of weeks, so this should increase the competition for places, especially for Zigor Aranalde!
The Star also says that Colin Lee will be announcing more reinforcements for Walsall later in the week, having agreed terms with a player who is "waiting to sort one or two things out with his club".
The comments on the message board strongly suggest that this is either the out of favour former Everton whizz kid, Michael Branch from Wolves, or the former Leicester and Villa midfielder Mark Draper from Southampton.
Another player about to be loaned out is potential England International Matt Jansen, in an attempt to get back to full fitness, but I can't see Walsall meeting his wages.
