...at home Saturday 19th September 2015.
The Coventry Rugby team has just been announced that faces Hartpury College at home at the Butts Park Arena; kick off 3pm, next Saturday 19th September.
The team shows just two changes from the starting line-up that beat Loughborough Students last Saturday, Winger Sam Baker makes his debut in place of the injured Scott Hamilton and Loti Molitika replaces the injured Tom Preece at No 8.
All seems good to me. Although the winger is an unknown entity to us supporters!
And although woodburn has done nothing wrong, i would prefer to have danny wright on the bench to give us a more rounded cover in the lock positions not just the back row.
To my mind though, Alex has been getting it right when he has been in, whereas Danny was trying really hard but not looking as effective. We saw last week that Sam can cover lock.
should be a real test on saturday. hartbury have scored 10 tries already so our defence needs to be good. i'm a little worried about the loss of the no 8 imo has done most things well and not made many errors plus the attacking potential with hodson, mcburnie and new winger may not b e very potent. need jones and know to have big games.
Totally agree Nick, Alex has been playing well, and puts himself around the park when legs have been getting tired. I think id just go more for safety, as having George Oliver playing at 8 (despite the try) made me feel a bit uneasy last week when the injuries kicked in.
Unfortunately neither Bigm or myself can make the game tomorrow, so ill be watching the board avidly to see how things go..
