interest in making his stay at Sheffield United a permanent one.
The 31-year-old is on loan from Birmingham City, whose manager Steve Bruce has made it clear the teeside-born player is not part of his plans. Despite being under contract until the summer of 2004, Mooney said "I would be delighted if something could be worked out at Sheffield United." |
