Preston make the journey south today to Vicarge Road to take on a Watford side still not certain of avoiding the drop as they lay only 4pts from the relegation zone.

Preston will be looking for all three points from this afternoons match, after their last two games ending in a draws.

A quick look at the table shows even with those two draws, it still make very good reading for North End.

Team News:

Preston may be without influential midfielder Paul McKenna who is struggling with an ankle problem.

Dickson Etuhu serves the second match of a four-game suspension, while goalkeeper Andy Lonergan and midfielder Eric Skora are long-term absentees.

Watford boss Ray Lewington is expected to name an unchanged team following the midweek draw with Leicester.

Defender Sean Dyche is still out with a groin injury, and midfielder Brynjar Gunnarsson is suspended.
