Penney: No Chance

Dave Penney has admitted any last glimmer of hope of Doncaster making the playoffs has diminished after drawing against Bradford.

Doncaster came back from 1-0 down and then hit the post in the final 10 minutes as both sides earnt a point each and both sit 6 points off the promotion spots.

And after hoping for a third successive promotion, Dave Penney has conceded defeat.

Penney said:

“The first thing I said to Colin Todd when we shook hands at the end was 'that's knocked us both out of the play-offs'.”

"One of us needed to win and it didn't happen - I certainly think that's the end of it for us now.”

"It could have gone either way, but I think a draw was a fair result overall."
