Penney: We have more options

Doncaster Boss Dave Penney has hinted that the club may not need to sign another forward.

Rovers are supposedly tabling a 6-figure-bid for an unnamed striker but Penney hinted that Rovers may not need one.

 

Rovers have signed Lewis Guy from Newcastle who looks promising and Leo Fortune-West is nearing full fitness. These 2 will join Roberts and Blundell in the ranks of forwards.

 

Penney said:

 

"Leo's probably a couple of weeks away from starting a match”

 

"But he and Lewis should hopefully give us more options up front."
