Penney has an Eye on the Play-Offs

Doncaster Manager Dave Penney has said that he thinks Doncaster could make the play-offs.

Penney was also keen to state that to get promoted a third time running would be a ‘dream’ but he’s not getting his hopes up too high. 

Blundell scored a headed goal 6 minutes from half-time but Swindon equalised with a similar goal midway through the second half. 

Penney said: 

"I'm not stupid enough to think we can keep being promoted every season but if we keep on like this, we could get into the play-offs." 

This comes after Rovers extended their unbeaten run to 4 games, which includes a well-earned 1-1 draw away at top of the table Luton. The most recent result was at Swindon where Doncaster put a good performance in and came back to South Yorkshire with a point after the 1-1 draw.
