Penney Settles for a Draw

Doncaster Manager Dave Penney is satisfied with his team’s performance against Swindon Town in the 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Penney, who earlier in the week received Look North’s, ‘Coach of the Year’, was also pleased Gregg Blundell got himself on the score sheet. 

Blundell scored a headed goal 6 minutes from half-time but Swindon equalised with a similar goal midway through the second half. 

Penney said: 

"This was the typical game of two halves with Rovers being in front in the first half and having a ball headed off the line only to see them come out strong in the second half and deservedly equalise.” 

 We can't argue but we are pleased for Gregg who once again hit the net and is hitting form again"
