Stevie, most important player - Carragher

Jamie Carragher believes that Steven Gerrard is England’s most important player. Carragher was speaking ahead of the two upcoming qualifiers against Israel and Andorra. He said:

"We need two wins for England starting with Israel. It is an important game but you are always playing big games for England and your club, so this isn't any different.

"To have Stevie in the team is a bonus. He is a top player for Liverpool and a top player for England, one of the country's most important - if not the most important."
