Directions by Road

From Birkenhead:  Approaching Heswall from Barnston Road, turn left at the junction of Brimstage Road and then take the first right which leads to the Stadium.

From Chester:  Approaching Heswall from Chester High Road,  travel to Gayton roundabout then turn onto Brimstage Road then take the first right you will reach the Gayton Roundabout (which has the Devon Doorway and Glegg Arms Pubs on it).  At this roundabout, turn right onto Brimstage Road and then take the first right to the Stadium (which is situated just behind the Glegg Arms Pub).

From West Kirby:  After travelling through Heswall Town Centre along Telegraph Road you will reach the Gayton Roundabout (which has the Devon Doorway and Glegg Arms Pubs on it).  At this roundabout, turn left onto Brimstage Road and then take the first right to the Stadium (which is situated just behind the Glegg Arms Pub)..

Public Transport Information

By Train: The nearest railway station to the Stadium is Heswall which is about a mile from the Stadium along Brimstage Road.  Heswall station is on the Wrexham to Bidston line and is served by trains on an hourly basis in each direction.

Trains travelling from the direction of Wrexham arrive at Heswall at 17 minutes past the hour and depart back in the direction of Wrexham at 56 minutes past the hour. 

Trains travelling from the direction of Bidston and Liverpool arrive at Heswall at 43 minutes past the hour and depart again in the direction of Biston and Liverpool at 17:17 and 18:30.

By Bus:  The Number 177 Bus from Birkenhead (Woodside) travels to Heswall and stops at the Gayton Roundabout right next to the Stadium.

Where to Eat and Drink

There are two Pubs next almost adjacent to Gayton Park where food is served as well as alcohol.  One of these is the Glegg Arms which is a Beefeater Pub and the other is the Devon Doorway on the other side of the same roundabout.

Heswall Town Centre itself is not short of places to eat and drink with outlets including Est Est Est, Pizza Hut and Pizza Express all available along with several Pubs for the consumption of alcohol.
