After the recent news that Rovers will travel to Northern Ireland to play Portadown, a second game has been announced over the water as Rovers take on Glentoran just two days before the already announced game in Portadown as part of what is becoming a mini-tour for Rovers this coming pre-season.

 

As predicted last week by Total Tranmere, we can now confirm that Rovers will play a second friendly in Northern Ireland following last weeks announcement that Rovers would travel to Northern Ireland to face Portadown in a pre-season friendly in July.

 

Rovers will face Glentoran at the Irish side’s Oval Stadium in Belfast on Tuesday 4^th July with a 7.45pm kick-off.

 

That game comes just two days before the trip to Shamrock Park to face Portadown on Thursday 6^th July as Rovers embark on a brief tour of Northern Ireland after which they will face Championship sides Wolves and Coventry at Prenton Park before travelling to Edgeley Park to face League Two side Stockport County on Saturday 29^th July with a 3.00pm kick-off.

 

Further away friendlies have also been confirmed by the host clubs against Cammell Laird and Morecambe although the Official Tranmere site has not yet confirmed these games.
