In a day of rumours, finally there have been some certainties. Many people will be dissappointed in some releases that have occured already, and now that list is added on by two more names. But what happens to winger Paul Hall? He has been outstanding this season and it seems he has attracted interest.

Finally some thing has been sorted, but people are leaving and again not coming in.

Tranmere have released another two players, goalkeeper Russell Howarth and newly-reborn midfielder David Beresford. The pair haven't featured this year as much as they would have like for Tranmere. Although it seemed that Beresford, in the recent games he played, was growing in confidence, or maybe he was just playing for a contract.

David's last game fro Tranmere was the play-offs semi final second leg defeat on penalties. Beresford himself scored a great goal for Tranmere to send the game into extra time, a great send off.

Howarth on the other hand only played after Christmas for a while, during a period when John Achterberg was out.

One dissappointment for Tranmere is Paul Hall. He has been told he is wanted by Tranmere, and it loked positive when he said to local papers he wants another promotion push, but now it is in light that the former Jamaican winger has been offered a contract by Walsall.

Walsall manager Paul Merson is desperate to strengthen a side that dissappointed last season. But I think Hall will stay with Tranmere, as he has been told he is wanted so doesnt seem a great move for him unless there is bigger money involved.
