After the careers rapidly going downhill, two Ex-Rovers players now find themselves in the unwanted position of being on the transfer list - a place every football player wishes they never find themselves in their whole career, but that is the fate two of our former youth players currently find themselves.

After leaving Tranmere Rovers, it seems that the careers of, both West Bromwich Albion's Jason Koumas and Sunderland's Sean Thornton, have started to go down the path of a downward spiral.

And this has certainly been confirmed after both players where put on the transfer list.

Sean Thornton, who is currently playing for newly promoted, Sunderland, left the club on awful circumstances. It appeared that the hot prospect was illegally training with the BLack Cats while contracted to Tranmere. Obviously, this angered every Tranmere fan, who all felt he had a great future with the club.

But it was another youthes departure that upset every Tranmere fan even more.

Jason Koumas was the most promising player to come out of the youth system of Tranmere for years, and it looked like he had the heart to stay for as long as possible, but relegation took his heart away.

It seemed that as soon as clubs like Fulham, Everton and eventually West Brom came into the picture, Koumas had decided he wanted out. This was certainly the case in his performance, after the once inspirational midfielder turned into and unwanted hole in the midfield.

If asked though, anyone would take Koumas back on board as his falir and passing ability was byound being taught.
